Keiko Raça Kimonos was founded in 1988, and was initially focused on manufacturing sports wear. During their infancy, Keiko Raça manufactured products for other sport brands such as; Red Nose, Alliance Kimonos, Bad Boy Brazil, Royal Combat amongst other popular brands. In 1995, Keiko started making BJJ garments with their own brand name “KEIKO RAÇA” and since that time have constantly been looking for new textile technology, aiming to offer the best performance, comfort and style for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes around the world. Their BJJ gis are well known for their quality, fit and thick collar. All of their kimonos are made in Brazil.
Keiko sponsors many of the top BJJ competitors in the world such as; Tarsis Humphreys, Gaby Garcia, Otavio Souza, Lucas Lepri, Leo Nogueira, and Keenan Cornelius. The legendary Marcelo Garcia has also worn Keiko BJJ gis throughout a good chunk of his fighting career.
