FUJI is the official brand of some of today’s most revered martial artists; such as, Royler Gracie, Pedro Sauer, Relson Gracie, Jeff Curran, Igor Gracie, Rolles Gracie, Ronda Rousey, Rick Hawn, and Jimmy Pedro. Fuji is also the official Gi supplier of the Abu Dhabi Combat Club, and is aligned with the legendary Gracie Humaita club founded by Helio Gracie. Ronda Rousey wears the Fuji brand in Judo and is also involved in product development with the women’s Gi’s.
Fuji was founded by Frank Hatashita 50 years ago to serve the Canadian Judo market during the 1960’s, as Judo became an Olympic sport in 1964. Under the leadership of his daughter Lia Hatashita, Fuji has expanded into the the US and Worldwide markets, and has been making high quality, yet affordable jiu-jitsu gis since 2006.
