Cliff Keen Athletic is a wrestling and wrestling officials-wear company, dedicated to the advancement of athletics through innovative products and communications. Cliff Keen Athletic exemplifies the rich traditions of the sport and the superior quality of athletic wear required for holding up to the rigors of wrestling competition.

Legendary wrestling coach Cliff Keen brought his wisdom to the table when he started the company in 1958. For over fifty years, they’ve been proving, improving and perfecting. They understand the dedication, hard work and passion wrestlers bring every day. And that’s exactly what they put into everything they create.

From 1925-1970, one name was synonymous with collegiate wrestling. Cliff Keen. During that time, Coach Keen led the University of Michigan wrestling teams to a record of 268 wins, 91 losses, 9 ties and 13 Big Ten championships. Overall, he coached 68 All-Americans as well as 81 Big Ten champions. Cliff Keen also coached the 1948 US Olympic team and was on the US Olympic Committee for many years. In addition, he served as the first president of the National Wrestling Coaches Association. He also just so happened to be the guy who invented the wrestling head guard.
